Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground turkey or beef
  • 1 medium jar mushrooms
  • 1 lb. cottage cheese
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 large jar chunky spaghetti sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
  • 4 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 medium box lasagna noodles

Method

  • Saute meat slightly.
  • Boil lasagna noodles slightly; set aside.
  • Put cottage cheese, mushrooms, spaghetti sauce, pepper, onion and slightly beaten egg whites in a medium size bowl along with sauteed meat.
  • Layer the lasagna noodles and meat mixture into a large lasagna pan or casserole dish and top with Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake at 350° until done.
