Ingredients

  • 1 lb. cubed steak, cut in strips
  • vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp. catsup
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms with liquid
  • 3 c. cooked noodles
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine

Method

  • Brown meat in a small amount of oil in a large skillet.
  • Add onion and garlic; cook until just tender.
  • Combine soup, sour cream, catsup, Worcestershire sauce and mushrooms; pour over meat and heat through.
  • Toss noodles with butter.
  • Serve meat mixture over noodles.
  • Makes 4 servings.
