- 1 lb. cubed steak, cut in strips
- vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
- 1 c. sour cream
- 2 Tbsp. catsup
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms with liquid
- 3 c. cooked noodles
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Method
- Brown meat in a small amount of oil in a large skillet.
- Add onion and garlic; cook until just tender.
- Combine soup, sour cream, catsup, Worcestershire sauce and mushrooms; pour over meat and heat through.
- Toss noodles with butter.
- Serve meat mixture over noodles.
- Makes 4 servings.
