Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. lasagna noodles
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 1/2 c. cottage cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese, shredded

Method

  • Cook noodles as directed; drain and lay flat on wax paper. Brown ground beef, then mix meat and spaghetti sauce.
  • Mix egg and cottage cheese.
  • Spread a thin layer of sauce in bottom of 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
  • Top with single layer of noodles and spread a thin layer of cottage cheese mixture.
  • Sprinkle with cheese. Repeat layers, ending with a layer of cheese.
  • Bake at 375° for 40 minutes.
