Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 2 (1 lb.) cans tomatoes, chopped (undrained)
- salt, pepper and garlic to taste
- 1/4 tsp. sugar
- 1 (16 oz.) carton cottage cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
- 24 oz. Mozzarella cheese
Method
- Brown and drain ground beef and season to taste.
- Add tomato paste and tomatoes.
- Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
- Cook noodles according to package directions.
- In 9 x 13 pan, alternate layers of sauce, noodles and cheese, beginning and ending with sauce. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
- Cool slightly before serving.
