Ingredients
- 1 pkg. hot roll mix
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 egg white, beaten slightly
- 1/2 c. currants
Method
- Prepare roll mix according to directions, adding the sugar, cinnamon and currants.
- Let dough rise until double.
- Roll and knead on floured board.
- Let rise again.
- Make into rolls.
- Put on greased cookie sheets and cut cross in top of each with kitchen shears.
- Brush with beaten egg white.
- Let rise.
- Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 400°.
- Frost with powdered sugar frosting.
