Ingredients
- 2 grapefruits, peeled and sectioned (save 1/2 cup of juice)
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. salad oil
Method
- Brown onion and garlic in oil until brown.
- Add sugar, soy sauce, lemon juice and grapefruit juice.
- Simmer until mixed and sugar is dissolved.
- Arrange grapefruit sections on a lettuce leaf, making 4 individual salad plates.
- Pour mixture over each equally. Serve hot or place in refrigerator to cool.
