Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 small clove garlic, chopped
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • pinch onion salt
  • 1 pkg. lasagna noodles
  • 1 large container cottage cheese
  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded mozzarella/cheddar cheese

Method

  • Cook and drain meat.
  • Combine onion, garlic, tomato sauce, onion salt and oregano and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Cook noodles and drain, spread light layer of meat sauce in 9 x 13 dish and then layer noodles and sauce and cheeses.
  • Save a little cottage cheese to spread on top before baking
  • in a 350 degree oven
  • for 30 - 45
  • minutes.
  • Let cool
  • before serving.
