- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 small clove garlic, chopped
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- pinch onion salt
- 1 pkg. lasagna noodles
- 1 large container cottage cheese
- 2 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded mozzarella/cheddar cheese
Method
- Cook and drain meat.
- Combine onion, garlic, tomato sauce, onion salt and oregano and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Cook noodles and drain, spread light layer of meat sauce in 9 x 13 dish and then layer noodles and sauce and cheeses.
- Save a little cottage cheese to spread on top before baking
- in a 350 degree oven
- for 30 - 45
- minutes.
- Let cool
- before serving.
