- Lamb
- 1 lb Ground lamb
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1/2 Minced onion
- 2tsp Oregano
- 1tsp Cumin Powder
- 6tsp Cavenders Greek Seasoning
- Rice
- 1 Cup basmati rice
- 2 Cup water
- 3/4 Tbsp Chicken Base
- 1/4tsp tumeric powder
- 1/4tsp chili powder
- 1/2tsp cumin powder
Method
- For Lamb
- Squeeze water from the onion using a small cloth.
- Add minced onion, 1lb ground lamb, 1lb ground beef, 1 tsp cumin powder, 2 tsp oregano and blend for 2 minutes.
- Then add 6tsp cavenders greek seasoning and blend again for a few more min.
- Make into thin patties and cook on a skillet with light oil. Approx 3-4 min per side. Once cooked cut into pieces and set aside.
- Rice
- Dissolve 3/4 tbsp of chicken base with 2 Cup of water and set aside.
- Add 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1/4 tsp cumin powder and 1/4 tsp chili powder to pan with light oil. Add rice and stir until blended. Then add the chicken base.
- Allow to cook.
- Add rice, lamb and salad and garnish with white sauce.
