Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. coarse salt
- 1 c. white vinegar
- 1 gal. water
Method
- Wash and drain cabbage.
- Then shred and pack in a quart jar. Put 1 hot banana pepper in center for hot kraut.
- Bring water, salt, sugar and vinegar to a boil.
- Pour over kraut.
- Seal.
- Ready to eat in one week.
