Ingredients
- 2/3 c. oleo
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 2 1/4 c. plain flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. water
- 2/3 c. rinsed, drained and chopped kraut
Method
- Cream the oleo and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients, alternating with water.
- Stir in kraut.
- Bake in two 9-inch round tins.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until done.
