Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. sifted self-rising flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. Crisco oil
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 c. crushed pineapple with juice
- 2 Tbsp. hot water
- 2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 c. chopped nuts, floured
- 4 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Method
- Combine all ingredients except
- nuts
- and
- egg
- whites. Beat well.
- Add nuts and stiffly beaten egg whites.
- Mix well. Pour into tube cake pan that
- has
- been
- greased
- and floured. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
