Ingredients
- 2 lb. beef, chunked
- 1 c. celery, cubed
- 6 carrots, sliced
- 1 large (No. 2 1/2) can tomatoes
- 3 sliced onions
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. barley
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 3 or 4 potatoes
Method
- Marinate beef in sherry wine and French dressing (if desired). Mix sugar, salt and barley with tomatoes.
- Combine rest of ingredients. Cover and bake at 300° for 5 hours.
