Ingredients
- 1 lb. uncooked chicken meat, cut in 1-inch squares
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 5 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 (3 oz.) cans mushrooms
- 2 c. soup stock
Method
- Dredge uncooked chicken meat (cut in 1-inch squares) with a mixture of soy sauce, sugar and cornstarch.
- Put mushrooms in a saucepan over low heat.
- When it boils, add the dredged chicken. Gradually add the soup stock and cook until chicken is tender. Serve hot with rice.
- Serves 6.
