Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 lb. bacon, cut in small pieces
  • 1 c. onion, chopped
  • 2 cans (15 oz. size) pork and beans
  • 1 can (15 oz. size) kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz. size) lima beans, drained
  • 1 c. ketchup
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. white vinegar
  • 1/2 to 1 Tbsp. liquid smoke
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Method

  • Brown ground beef in skillet; drain off fat.
  • Put in a crock-pot.
  • Brown bacon and onion; drain off fat.
  • Add bacon, onion and remaining ingredients to the crock-pot.
  • Cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.
