Ingredients

  • 4 regular cans French-style green beans
  • 2 tbs flour
  • 2 tbs butter, melted
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 3-4 tsp finely grated onion
  • 1/2 pint sour cream
  • 8 oz grated Swiss cheese
  • corn flakes, crushed

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Paste the flour and butter, then add sugar, salt, and onion. Add sour cream and Swiss cheese. Gently fold in green beans and spoon into a casserole dish. Cover with crushed corn flakes. Bake for 25 minutes.
