Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • salt
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 3/4 stick butter
  • 4 Tbsp. sugar
  • raisins

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 350°.
  • Mix the flour with the milk.
  • Add a pinch of salt and 4 eggs yolks (reserve the whites).
  • Melt the butter in a skillet and add to the flour-milk mixture.
  • Mix well. Pour the mixture into the skillet.
  • Beat the egg whites with the sugar.
  • Fold this into the batter.
  • Sprinkle raisins on top.
  • Put skillet in oven and bake for 20 minutes or until brown.
  • Cut into pie-shaped pieces and serve with a fruit compote.
