Ingredients

  • 2 large cans whole peeled tomatoes with juice
  • 2 bunches green onions
  • 10 to 15 sprigs fresh cilantro
  • 1 small can diced jalapenos
  • 1 small can diced chiles
  • minced fresh garlic to taste
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • cumin to taste

Method

  • Chop all by hand.
  • If it's too hot with jalapenos, use 2 cans chopped chiles. If it's still too hot, add a little finely shaved unsweetened chocolate.
  • Mix in well.
  • Be careful not to use too much cilantro or cumin; they can overwhelm overall taste. Refrigerate to blend ingredients.
