Ingredients

  • 1 lb jicama, peeled, sliced, diced small
  • 4 lemon slices
  • 12 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 12 cups water
  • 4 inches cinnamon sticks
  • 2 apples, peeled (sliced or diced)
  • 1 12 cups dried apricots, halved

Method

  • In a sauce pan, combine jicama, lemon slices, s7gar, water & cinnamon stick.
  • Bring to boil, then lower heat & simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes.
  • Add apples & apricots to pan & simmer another 2-4 minutes until apples are tender.
  • Romove from heat & chill.
  • Discard lemon slices & cinnamon stick before serving.
