Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. oil
  • 1/4 lb. cubed ham
  • 1 small green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 3/4 c. tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire
  • 1 tsp. curry powder
  • dash of hot sauce
  • 1/4 c. celery, chopped
  • 1/2 c. rice
  • 4 oz. shrimp

Method

  • Heat oil in skillet.
  • Add ham, pepper, onion, celery and garlic.
  • Saute until soft.
  • Add tomatoes, water, Worcestershire, curry powder and hot sauce; bring to boil.
  • Add rice and shrimp. Cover and reduce heat.
  • Simmer until liquid is absorbed.
