- 1 tsp. oil
- 1/4 lb. cubed ham
- 1 small green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 3/4 c. tomatoes, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire
- 1 tsp. curry powder
- dash of hot sauce
- 1/4 c. celery, chopped
- 1/2 c. rice
- 4 oz. shrimp
Method
- Heat oil in skillet.
- Add ham, pepper, onion, celery and garlic.
- Saute until soft.
- Add tomatoes, water, Worcestershire, curry powder and hot sauce; bring to boil.
- Add rice and shrimp. Cover and reduce heat.
- Simmer until liquid is absorbed.
