Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground chuck
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/3 c. cooking oil
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 (5 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 c. water
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. thin spaghetti, cooked until tender
Method
- Heat oil in heavy skillet until medium hot.
- Add chopped onion and garlic to skillet and cook until glossy.
- Add salt and pepper to meat and form into 2-inch balls.
- Add to skillet.
- Brown lightly.
- Add tomato sauce and water.
- Cover and cook on medium heat for 30 minutes.
- Uncover and cook slowly until sauce thickens.
- Serve over spaghetti which has been cooked until tender and drained.
