- 2 1/2 or 3 lb. fryer
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 can tomato paste
- 2 Tbsp. bottled barbecue sauce
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. red hot sauce or salsa
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- salt to taste
Method
- Saute onion and garlic in shortening.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Mix well.
- Add 2 cups water and cook slowly at least 30 minutes.
- Boil fryer.
- Debone.
- Add to sauce and simmer about 10 minutes.
- Cook large package of spaghetti in water where chicken was cooked; drain.
- Add sauce and mix well.
