Ingredients
- 6 lb. rump roast
- 1 bay leaf
- dash of oregano
- 2 tsp. vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tsp. caraway seed
- 1/2 c. water
- 3 c. water
- 3 green peppers, cut into strips
- kaiser rolls
Method
- Salt and pepper meat that has been placed in the Dutch oven. Add bay leaf, oregano, vinegar, caraway seed and first 1/2 cup of water.
- Cook slowly for three hours.
