Ingredients
- 2 cups Raw Walnuts
- 1 cup Cacao Powder
- 1/4 teaspoons Cinnamon (optional)
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 22 Dates, Pitted (I Used Mejdool Dates)
- 1/2 cups Chopped Almonds (optional)
Method
- Line the bottom of an 8x8 pan with parchment paper.
- Set aside.
- Add walnuts into the food processor and let it run until the walnuts are almost a rough flour-like consistency (10-15 seconds).
- Add cacao powder, cinnamon and vanilla and process another 5 seconds.
- Slowly add dates and process until mixture is crumbly, but holds together when pressed together with your fingers.
- Mix in chopped almonds by hand and press the mixture into the prepared pan.
- Let it set in the fridge for an hour.
