Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. whole nuts
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Line baking sheet with foil.
- Butter the foil.
- In a thick skillet, melt margarine; add sugar and mix well.
- Add nuts.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, about 9 minutes or until sugar melts and turns to a rich brown color.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
- Spread onto cookie sheet.
- Cool; break into small pieces.
