Ingredients
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 6 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
- 1 beaten egg yolk
- 1 tsp. vanilla or rum extract
- 1 c. flour
Method
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add egg yolk and flavoring.
- Beat well.
- Add flour.
- Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- If desired, decorate with candied fruits or nuts, etc.
- Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Yields 2 dozen cookies.
