Ingredients
- 1/4 c. oleo
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. soda
Method
- In a small bowl, stir together oleo and sugar.
- Add egg and vanilla.
- Beat until light and fluffy on low speed.
- Gradually add dry ingredients.
- Beat until smooth.
- Divide into 24 balls.
- In ungreased baking sheet, put 12 balls.
- Use small juice glass to make wide round depressions in center, leaving a rim.
- Fill with topping.
- Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
- Remove from pan to waxed paper.
- Cool and drizzle icing over cookies.
