Ingredients
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
- 1 c. flaked coconut
- 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
- 2 to 3 oz. cream cheese (at room temperature)
- 4 Tbsp. oleo
- 1/2 lb. powdered sugar
Method
- Mix nuts and coconut.
- Spread evenly on bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Prepare cake mix as directed; pour on top of nut mixture (do not mix).
- Beat together margarine, powdered sugar and cream cheese until smooth.
- Drop by teaspoons on top of batter.
- Bake at 350° for about 55 minutes or until done.
