Ingredients
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 (15 oz.) can garbanzos (chickpeas)
- 1/2 c. tahini paste
- 3 to 4 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 to 4 Tbsp. water
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- pinch of coriander
- salt to taste
- pita bread, warmed and cut into triangles
Method
- Mince garlic in food processor.
- Add garbanzos, tahini, lemon juice, water, olive oil, salt and cumin.
- Blend until smooth.
- Add lemon juice or water if too thick.
- Transfer to serving dish and garnish with olives, chopped red onion and chopped tomato.
- Use pita triangles for dipping.
