Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 c. green chilies
  • 1 Tbsp. minced onions
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 (2 oz.) jar dried beef
  • 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)

Method

  • Blend softened cream cheese, milk and sour cream until smooth. Add green chilies, onion and salt to mixture.
  • Shred the jar of dried beef.
  • Fold dried beef into mixture.
  • Turn mixture into an 8-inch baking dish.
  • In small skillet melt butter and brown pecans. Spread pecans over mixture.
  • Bake for 20 minutes at 350°.
  • Serve with Wheat Thins.
