Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. lemon pepper
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp. soy sauce
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • crackers

Method

  • Fry bacon until crisp; drain, saving 2 tablespoons of drippings in pan.
  • Crumble bacon and set aside.
  • Add mushrooms, onion and garlic to drippings.
  • Cook over medium heat until tender and most of the mushroom liquid has evaporated, about 6 to 8 minutes.
  • Mix in flour, salt and pepper.
  • Add cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce.
  • Reduce heat to low and stir until cheese melts.
  • Remove from heat and stir in sour cream and bacon.
  • Serve with crackers.
