Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 3 Tbsp. shortening
- 5 Tbsp. water
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- chicken or meat stock
Method
- Combine flour, beaten egg, shortening, salt and water; mix until dough is soft.
- Divide into three parts.
- Roll out very thin; let dough dry for 20 minutes.
- Cut in small strips; drop in broth.
- Cook noodles until tender; stir.
- Makes 6 servings.
