Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
- dash of salt
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. honey
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. skim milk, scalded
Method
- In medium bowl, beat egg until foamy.
- Add cornstarch and salt.
- Beat until smooth.
- Add honey and vanilla; mix well. Slowly beat in hot milk.
- Place 5 paper-lined 2 1/2-inch foil muffin cups in baking dish.
- Pour in custard.
- Pour hot water into dish to reach halfway up sides of cups.
- Bake at 325° for 40 minutes.
- Chill and serve.
- Makes 5 servings, 53 calories per serving.
