Ingredients
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 c. salt
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 c. water
- food coloring (desired amount)
Method
- Combine and cook over very low heat, stirring constantly until dough is stiff and hard to stir.
- Remove from heat and add scent (peppermint, extracts) if desired.
- Knead immediately.
- Store in airtight container. Keeps 4 to 6 weeks.
