Ingredients
- 48 ripe tomatoes
- 12 peppers
- 8 onions
- 2 qt. vinegar
- 1/2 c. salt
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. mustard
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 3 celery stalks
Method
- Chop tomatoes, peppers, onions and celery, then add rest of ingredients and simmer many hours until thick.
- Makes about 10 or 12 pints.
