Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, softened
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 c. all - purpose flour
  • 1/3 c. Hershey's cocoa
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 bag (12 oz.) Hershey's semi - sweet chocolate chips

Method

  • Heat oven to 350°.
  • In large mixer bowl, beat butter, sugar and brown sugar until well blended. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well.
  • Stir together flour, cocoa, soda and salt.
  • Gradually add to butter mix beat well.
  • Stir in chips.
  • Drop by teaspoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake 9 - 11 minutes.
