Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) jar herring in wine sauce
  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium red onion, chopped
  • 1 (2 1/4 oz.) can sliced ripe black olives
  • 1 (6 oz.) jar marinated artichokes, drained
  • 1 (12 oz.) jar Bennett's chili sauce

Method

  • Drain and cut herring into small pieces.
  • Place in bowl.
  • Add green pepper, onions, olives and artichokes.
  • Add chili sauce. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours or overnight.
  • Serve plain or with crackers or cocktail bread.
  • This is very colorful in a clear glass bowl.
