Ingredients
- 1 c. butter (not margarine)
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 6 oz. chocolate chips
- saltine crackers
Method
- Mix sugar and butter together and bring to rolling boil.
- Boil 3 minutes.
- Pour mixture over a layer of crushed saltine crackers in a jelly roll pan.
- Bake at 400° for 5 minutes (until crackers are brown).
- Remove from oven and spread chocolate chips over top. Let melt for 2 minutes and spread with back of spoon. Refrigerate.
- Break into pieces.
