Ingredients
- 1 white or yellow cake mix
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding
- 1 jar maraschino cherries
- 1 tub Cool Whip
- 1 large can crushed pineapple
- 1 pkg. coconut
- 1 pkg. nuts, if desired
Method
- Prepare cake according to package directions, using pineapple juice instead of water.
- Use sheath cake pan.
- Allow cake to cool. Mix cream cheese and pudding (this is first layer).
- Spread pineapple and Cool Whip mixture.
- Coconut is next layer.
- Last, top with cherries.
