Ingredients
- 1 large (32 oz.) bag frozen hash brown potatoes
- 1 stick oleo, melted
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 c. green onion, chopped
- 1 small carton sour cream
- 1 small jar Cheez Whiz
- 2 c. crushed cornflakes or Rice Krispies
Method
- Place potatoes in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle onion, salt and pepper over potatoes and pour half the oleo over this mixture.
- Heat soup, sour cream and Cheez Whiz.
- Then pour over the potatoes. Top with with corn flakes or Rice Krispies and the other half of the oleo.
- Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
