Ingredients

  • 1 large (32 oz.) bag frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 1 stick oleo, melted
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c. green onion, chopped
  • 1 small carton sour cream
  • 1 small jar Cheez Whiz
  • 2 c. crushed cornflakes or Rice Krispies

Method

  • Place potatoes in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  • Sprinkle onion, salt and pepper over potatoes and pour half the oleo over this mixture.
  • Heat soup, sour cream and Cheez Whiz.
  • Then pour over the potatoes. Top with with corn flakes or Rice Krispies and the other half of the oleo.
  • Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
