Ingredients
- 1 qt. homemade syrup
- 1 stick butter
- 2 c. nuts
- 1 (14 oz.) pkg. coconut
Method
- Place syrup in a saucepan; bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Cook and stir to hard boil stage.
- (Mixture caramelizes slightly as it cooks.)
- Remove from heat.
- Stir nuts, butter and coconut in.
- Pour into a well-greased cookie sheet. Chill for 2 hours.
- To eat, break off pieces.
