Ingredients
- powdered sugar
- 3 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. flavoring oil
- coloring
Method
- Sprinkle an 18 x 24-inch strip of heavy-duty aluminum foil with powdered sugar.
- Mix first 3 ingredients in large, heavy saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
- Boil, without stirring, until temperature reaches 310° or until drops of syrup form hard threads in cold water.
- Remove from heat; stir in flavoring oil and coloring.
- Pour onto foil.
- Cool and break into pieces.
