- 1 lb. ground beef
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. sliced celery
- 1 medium carrot
- 1/4 lb. green beans
- 1 small white turnip
- 4 large fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp. honey
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch, dissolved in 2 Tbsp. water
- 1 (10 oz.) fresh spinach, chopped
- dry roasted peanuts
- hot cooked rice
Method
- Shape beef into 1 large patty.
- Heat 1 tablespoon oil in wok over high heat.
- Brown for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes each side.
- Break meat into chunks and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
- Remove and set aside.
