Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 3 Tbsp. oil
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. sliced celery
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 1/4 lb. green beans
  • 1 small white turnip
  • 4 large fresh mushrooms
  • 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp. honey
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch, dissolved in 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1 (10 oz.) fresh spinach, chopped
  • dry roasted peanuts
  • hot cooked rice

Method

  • Shape beef into 1 large patty.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in wok over high heat.
  • Brown for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes each side.
  • Break meat into chunks and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  • Remove and set aside.
