Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground chuck or turkey
  • 1 (48 oz.) can tomato juice
  • 1 c. chopped carrots
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 (16 oz.) can green beans, drained
  • 1 can sweet corn
  • 1 c. chopped cabbage
  • 2 or 3 chopped potatoes
  • 1 c. macaroni
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

  • Brown the meat and onion together.
  • Drain fat.
  • Add the tomato juice and raw vegetables.
  • Simmer 30 minutes.
  • Add macaroni and canned vegetables.
  • Cook another 10 or 15 minutes.
