Ingredients

  • 3 12 cups self rising flour
  • 2 14 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 14 teaspoons sugar
  • 12 cup butter, cold and cut into pieces
  • 1 12 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted

Method

  • Combine first flour, baking powder and sugar.
  • Cut in butter with a pastry blender until crumbly.
  • Add milk and stir until dry ingredients are moist.
  • Drop in desired size onto ungreased cookie sheet and brush with melted butter.
  • Bake at 350 until golden, approximately 15-20 minutes.
  • *can use buttermilk if you want to make buttermilk biscuits.
