Ingredients
- pastry for 9-inch pie
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 c. ground, cooked ham or cut into small cubes
- 1 c. shredded Swiss or Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper (optional)
- 1/4 c. chopped onion (optional)
Method
- Bake pastry and let cool.
- Combine eggs, milk, pepper and baking powder.
- Beat well.
- Stir in ham and cheese.
- Add green pepper and onion, if desired.
- Spoon into shell and bake at 425° for 25 to 30 minutes or until firm in center.
