- 1lb Beef tips
- 1lb sliced fresh mushrooms
- Olive Oil for pan
- 1/4 c. red wine
- Onion Soup Mix 1 packet
- 1/2 c. water or beef broth
- 1 Tbs minced garlic
- 2 Tbs Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/4 Heavy Cream
- 2 tbs cornstartch (optional) with 1/4 cold water
- Salt
- Peper
- Cooked egg noodles
Method
- 1. Heat dutch oven with oil and add mushrooms, salt and pepper. Cook until they release moisture.
- 2. Add Beef Tips and garlic. Brown with Mushrooms.
- 3. Add wine and cook off a bit.
- 4. Add Soup Mix, water and Worcestershire
- 5. Cook low on stove, covered for 1.5 hours or until meat is very tender.
- 6. Turn heat up and add cream. If it doesn't thicken add corn starch.
- 7. Serve over cooked egg noodles
