Ingredients

  • 1lb Beef tips
  • 1lb sliced fresh mushrooms
  • Olive Oil for pan
  • 1/4 c. red wine
  • Onion Soup Mix 1 packet
  • 1/2 c. water or beef broth
  • 1 Tbs minced garlic
  • 2 Tbs Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4 Heavy Cream
  • 2 tbs cornstartch (optional) with 1/4 cold water
  • Salt
  • Peper
  • Cooked egg noodles

Method

  • 1. Heat dutch oven with oil and add mushrooms, salt and pepper. Cook until they release moisture.
  • 2. Add Beef Tips and garlic. Brown with Mushrooms.
  • 3. Add wine and cook off a bit.
  • 4. Add Soup Mix, water and Worcestershire
  • 5. Cook low on stove, covered for 1.5 hours or until meat is very tender.
  • 6. Turn heat up and add cream. If it doesn't thicken add corn starch.
  • 7. Serve over cooked egg noodles
