Ingredients

  • 1 package hake fillets
  • salt taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 9/16 pound camembert cheese
  • 5/8 cup cream
  • 2 eggs

Method

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  • Season the fillets with salt, pepper, and lemon juice, and marinate for about 15 minutes.
  • Place the fillets on a baking tray, and brush with melted butter.
  • Bake for about 12 minutes.
  • Cut the Camembert cheese into pieces, and melting in a water bath, stirring slightly.
  • When the cheese is melted, add the cream and egg yolks, and stir well.
  • Whisk the egg whites until stiff, add to sauce, and mix gently.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Place the fillets on a plate, and cover them with Camembert sauce.
  • Serve with rice with peas and carrots.
