Ingredients
- self-rising flour
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- melted margarine
Method
- Sift flour in a big bowl and pack down in middle, leaving a hole in middle.
- Pour in milk and oil.
- Mix with hand slowly until thick.
- Then clean hand.
- Flour hand and knead over dough until it is just stiff enough to pinch off and roll up in your hand.
- Place on greased baking pan and pat down with melted margarine.
- Bake at 450° to 500° until brown.
