Ingredients
- 8 ears corn
- 1 c. whipping cream
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp. flour
- Parmesan cheese
Method
- Cut corn from cob and place in saucepan with cream.
- Bring to boil.
- Reduce heat; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in salt and sugar. Melt butter in another pan and stir in flour (do not burn).
- Stir butter and flour; pour into corn until slightly thickened.
- Place into oven-proof dish.
- Sprinkle with grated cheese and dot with butter.
- Melt under broiler.
- Makes 4 servings.
