Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados (rough skinned; at room temperature)
  • 1 ripe medium size tomato, diced at room temperature
  • 1 medium size onion, diced (at room temperature)
  • fresh lemon juice from 1/2 lemon
  • salt
  • pepper
  • tortilla chips (for dipping)

Method

  • Peel avocados and discard pit.
  • Mash avocados with fork in a bowl.
  • Add diced tomato and onion.
  • Squeeze most of the juice from the lemon half.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
  • Spoon into serving bowl.
  • Get tortilla chips and share immediately; or, grab a spoon, sneak away and indulge right out of the bowl!
